Starlets test strength against Satellites

Accra, Nov. 11, GNA - The National Under-17 team, the Black Starlets have been billed to test their strength against the National Under-21 team, the Black Satellites on Sunday, November 14 at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

The Starlets have been in camp for the past months preparing for their match against Tunisia in the qualifying series of the Africa edition of the Under-17 championship slated to come off in November. As a result of that, the match is supposed to serve as the last trial match for the team before they take on their Tunisian counterparts.

The Ghana Football Association has therefore invited 17 members of the Satellites for camping in preparation for the match against the Starlets.

The players are to report at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Friday, November 12.

Among the invited players are Charles Asamoah, Osei Kofi from the camp of Berekum Arsenals, Sam Yeboah and Dramani Aminu of Heart of Lions, Michael Akkufo, Iddi Yekini and Anaafi Mohamed of Feyenoord, Frank Andoh, Daniel Asamoah and Isaac Amonsah from the camp of Ashantigold, Patrick Antwi, Bawa Mumuni, Micheal Helegbe of Liberty Professionals and Gilbert Ayekade and Fatau Sulley from Real Tamale United (RTU). The rest are Douglass Nkrumah and Anthony Annan of Power FC and Sekondi Hasaacas respectively.
