Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila helped his Al Qadsia side strengthen their grip on first place in the Kuwaiti league with a 6-0 thrashing of lowly placed Al Nasar.
The Ghanaian continued his strong start with yet another imposing display at the heart of defense to ensure his side recorded a clean sheet on the day.
Sumaila who was earlier on linked with a surprise move away from Al Qadsia showed little signs of loss of concentration and controlled the game.
The 6-0 thrashing of Al Nasar moves Al Qadsia to 22 points who are in firts place after 8 round of games.
