Mensah's stay at the Stade Gerland has been constantly speculated although his agent claims the club are unwilling to sell him. The 26-year-old moved to Lyon last season for 8.4 million euros but suffered a lot injury setbacks and could not replicate his performance at Rennes. English Premier League sides Portsmouth and West Ham have also expresed interest in signing him.
