Old adversaries are poised for the Super Cup fixture on October 2 at the Accra Sports Stadium to herald the new season, the GFA has confirmed.
Premier League champions Berekum Chelsea will take on FA Cup winners FC Nania for the opening match of the season.
Though a gulf still separates Nania from Chelsea, the second tier side beat the premier league winners on penalties on their way to annexing the FA Cup at the end of last season.
The Super Cup is played between the premiership champion and FA Cup winner to precede the start of the football season
