Ghana international Andre Ayew wants Swansea City to build on Sunday's derby win over Cardiff City in the Championship.
The Jack Army claimed the points and bragging rights as they held their own to clinch a 1-0 home triumph in the South Wales derby at Liberty Stadium.
The win marked Swansea's return to winning ways following a three-match winless run.
“The derby is so important for the club and the fans were unbelievable, they really pushed us,” he said, as reported by his club's official website.
“We have had some difficult results at home recently so we really needed the fans behind us, especially in this fixture.
“We know what this game means to the fans, so it was an amazing victory. For us, the three points were very important but most importantly we have won this game for the Jack Army.
“This result was for all the Swans fans across Wales and the rest of the world and we hope this won’t be the last time we make them smile."
The Jack Army sit fourth on the league table, only two points adrift of leaders West Bromwich Albion.
“There were so many fans in the stadium, I wish every game could have the same atmosphere as it really boosted us," the 29-year-old added.
“Hopefully we can start a winning run and continue the unbelievable atmosphere at the Liberty.”
On a personal level, it was a good day at the office for Ayew as he was adjudged Man of the Match.
He has so far netted three times in the Championship this season.
