Swansea have played down speculation linking them with a move for Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah.
Reports had suggested that chairman Huw Jenkins was to meet with representatives of the 23-year-old Hoffenheim player.
But Jenkins said: "Swansea City would like to confirm that there is no truth in this rumour."
Jenkins also revealed that a deal for Barcelona B forward Jonathan Soriano is unlikely to go ahead.
"We were prepared to offer the player an opportunity to join our squad in our first season in the Premier League, but we were not happy with the terms of the deal to suit Swansea City Football Club.
"We continue to look at all of our options."
