Ghana midfielder Charles Takyi claims he is yet to make a mark at the Africa Nations Cup after his debut last Saturday against Mali.
The former Germany youth international was a second half substitute in the 2-0 win over Mali at the Franceville Stadium.
Takyi struggled to find his feet in the game after replacing Sulley Muntari but says he is ready to go up a level.
"It was a nice experience for me and I can say that the path has been cleared for me to show more," the St Pauli forward said.
“I believe I did well in the match. When your team is tired you are needed to bring something new and I think I did well."
Takyi was cleared to play for Ghana in September last year and made his debut two months later in a friendly against Gabon.
