Tanko signs for SC Freiburg despite positive dope-test

SC Freiburg has decided to take drug test failer Ibrahim Tanko under contract ASAP rather than in the near future as insinuated earlier. Tanko who has been without binding agreement since he and his former Club Borussia Dortmund decided to void their former contract.

Tanko who has been without binding agreement since he and his former Club Borussia Dortmund decided to void their former contract. Tanko had tested possitive for "Weed" before the DFB trophy game against Schalke on November 29 2000. Considering that Tanko is almost at the end of his suspension Freiburg is also considering loaning him out in Switzerland till this summer - considering that their Leagues transfer options are still open.
