Techiman Bronkyempem Beat Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko yesterday lost 1~2 to Techiman Bronkyempem in a special friendly match played at the Techiman Holy Family Park. Playing with a virtually unknown squad, much to the disappointment of soccer fans who had travelled from nearby Towns, like Yeji, Tuobodom, Nkoranza to catch a glimpse of their heroes, the fabulous boys were indeed no match for the Premier League Campaigners. The Bronkyempem lads had no sympathy for the LG TOP 4 Champions and dominated in every aspect of the game. It was therefore, no wonder they took the lead in the first half through their livewire Sulley in the 23rd minute of the first half.

The Porcupine Warriors accepted the challenge and returned in the second half with a lot of determination and deservedly secured an equalizer through Kwadwo Poku Jnr.As everything was pointing to a drawn game, Bronkyempem scored a wonderful goal through their striker nicknamed Scooby, a goal that threw the entire stadium into wild jubilation.
