Cape Coast, May 16, GNA - Tema Youth started the National Middle League on a bright note when they beat King Solomon 3-2 in their match played at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast on Sunday.
The former Premier side opened the scores with a spot kick in the 37th minute through midfielder, Thomas Partey and hanged on it until the end of the first half.
Back from recess, Tema Youth quickly went into action to increase their goal tally to two through Moses Odjer in the 48th minute.
King Solomon forced the tide in their favour and pulled a goal back in the 69th minute through Akoto Davies.
However the hope of King Solomon of drawing level was dashed when substitute, Hamza Abdulai increased his side's tally to 3-1 in the 79th minute before King Solomon managed to reduce the scores to 3-2 after Alex Tawiah scored in the 89th minute.
