Accra, Apr. 9, GNA-Teshie Old Stars will meet Nungua Old Stars in a friendly football match at the Teshie Methodist Cluster of Schools Park on Easter Monday to honour Nii Nortey Dua, Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku.
Mr Danny Annan, a spokesman for Teshie Old Stars Association (TOSA) who disclosed this to GNA Sports in Accra on Thursday, said the match was also to extend the gratitude of the people to the efforts of Nii Dua who also the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports. He said the Association's agenda to honour the Deputy Minister who is also a member of the association was in appreciation for his meritorious support offered for the advancement of the association. Mr Annan said some of the players expected to feature for Teshie team include E.T. Mensah, Henry Okang, Nii Nortey Dua, Joe Brando, Fresh Addo, Okang Wantu, Thomas Otinkorang, P.E. Lartey , Laryea Pepper and Prince Ashie.
The Nungua team, which would be led by Nii Oakley Qquaye Kumah,Member of Parliament for Krowor, would include Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, John Naawu, Albert Ansuade, Felix Boye, Eddie Alabi and Charles Aplerh.
Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, Minister of Youth and Sports is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour. 09 April 09
