"Too many bad coaches in Ghana"- Alhaji Raji

Accra, May 13, GNA - Alhaji Raji, Communications Director of Premiership side, Sekondi Eleven Wise has damned the quality of coaches in Ghana, citing it as a major premise for the fallen standard of the league.

The outspoken Communications Director criticized most local coaches for lacking depth in turning ordinary players to quality materials. Presenting his opinion on what might have created supporter apathy at the league centers in recent times, Alhaji Raji's view dubbed, "quality, quality and quality" similarly poured scorn on the quality of players featuring in the various leagues across the country. "We have bad coaches and bad players."

Alhaji Raji similarly fingered player quality noting that a chunk of them had low intelligent quotient (IQ) and narrow thoughts; comparing them to the others produced by Ghana in generations back. The Communications Director advocated for the need to turn to the schools in search of producing better players in the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) thirst to woo back supporters to the empty stands that have engulfed league centers.

Touching on sponsorship, Alhaji Raji said it must be possible for the GFA and other stakeholders to raise enough finance capable of paying players not less than 500 dollars monthly to improve their livelihood and raise the standard of play in the country.
