In their effort to improve the standard of coaching in the country, Global Soccer Coaches Association of Ghana (GSCAG), a football oriented association, has sponsored two of its members, referee Justice A Agbeko and instructor Peter Yaovi for a sports administration course in Pennsylvania, US.
The two left Accra on Friday for the States and are expected back in three weeks.
Speaking to the GNA Sports in Accra on Monday, Mr Patrick Aidoo, Vice-President of the Association said, plans are afoot to give other members the opportunity to improve on their performance.
The association formed a year ago, has been able to organised series of such courses to its members locally with assistance from the US and Denmark.
"Our aim is to upgrade the standard of coaching in the country, thereby raising standard of play for better results, Mr Aidoo said".
He said negotiations are underway to bring down experts from the U.S and Scotland for a coaching clinic for coaches and sports administrators.
