With the World Cup appproaching the the likely interest from several clubs across the globe for the talented playmaker, Napoli have already started talks his agent has confirmed.

Even though Udinese have delcared that they will not sell the players for not less than US$25m, Napoli who will be playing in the Europa League are keen to do business, his agent has confirmed.

“We are not in a rush but I am in talks with the people from Napoli,” Asamoah’s agent Claudio Vagheggi said.

“Asamoah is a young player of 22 and after the World Cup his price will certainly soar so we are considering all these possibilities.

“If you Compare Asamoah to Almiron, the Ghanaian is a better playmaker. So if there is a firm offer from Napoli I will let you know .”

Newspaper reports in the UK claim small-spending Arsenal are interested in Asamoah but Vagheggi declined to comment.
