Ghanaian midfielder Uriah Asante has rejected a US$50,000 move to South African side AmaZulu to sign for Hearts of Oak.
The impressive enforcer was handed a two-week trial by the PSL side last month after impressing on pre-season with his second-tier side Pure Joy.
He impressed AmaZulu who reportedly tabled US$50,00 for his services but the transfer fee was deemed inadequate by his club.
Asante was rested in Hearts of Oak’s high-profile pre-season first leg game against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
He will be available on 1 October in the return encounter.
