Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah delivered an encouraging message to the inmates of the James Camp prisons on Republic day, 1st of July 2016 at the premises of the facility.
Asamoah charged the inmates to believe in themselves and determine to live a better life after leaving the facility.
The Juventus star, prevailed on the inmates not to see their present situation as the end of their lives but rather aspire to become great people when they come out.
“Staying focus in life and been disciplined and relying on God will push you far. In this life though we have clean hearts, we are always up against certain spiritual attacks. So I want to urge you all to be prayerful and be humble as well,” he said.
Kwadwo Asamoah promised to level their playing field after presenting the inmates with bags of rice, soft drinks, water and an undisclosed amount of money.
The former Liberty Professionals midfielder, led a select side comprising Black Stars players Jerry Akaminko and Richmond Boakye Yiadom; some Ghanaian musicians including Kwabena Kwabena and Klala playing for team Kwadwo Asamoah.
Former Black Queens captain Adwoa Bayor was also part of team Kwadwo Asamoah that played against the James Camp Prisons team.
team Kwadwo Asamoah lost 4-5 on penalties after drawing 2-2.
Ghanaian boxer Joseph “King Kong” Agbeko was there to grace the occasion as well as Tony Baffoe.
The event was organized by Metro Tv Sports headed by Ernest Koranteng, in collaboration with Kwadwo Asamoah.
