Valentine Akeh Damhe has opted to play for Asante Kotoko this season if only he is given the chance. The Camerounian who plays for Royale Aigle D`menoua of Cameroun said he loves to ply his trade in Ghana and possibly the Porcupine team.
The 27-ear-old disclosed this to METRO SPORTS shortly after his team`s 3-0 defeat by Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the second leg of the Caf Champions League match played at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
"I`ve been in Ghana for just two days and I think this is the best place for me. I love the environment and the people in Ghana and I hope to play in their league." he said.
He also revealed his liking for the Ghanaian style of play and asked Kotoko officials to make a move for his release since he is ready to deliver for the club.
He finally praised the Kotoko team for their performance in their game and said, "Kotoko played well and I'm happy to play against them today because our team is young and comparably not too strong for them but I think we did our best to hold their strong and talented players".
Asante Kotoko has thus qualified for the next stage of the Champions League after that impressive performance .
