The Vice President Paa Kwasi Amissah-Arthur has urged the Black Stars to go all out to win the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
The Stars last won the continental showpiece in 1982 when they defeated Libya in the finals.
The Vice President, who arrived in South Africa Tuesday night ahead of Ghana’s semi-finals clash against Burkina Faso at the Mbombela Stadium today, said it’s time for the Stars to make the nation proud.
He urged the Black Stars to ensure that they do everything possible to win the African cup of nations to end Ghana’s 31 year trophy drought.
“After all the exploits, the last two World cups and the great work that you did here in South Africa, it is time for us to finish off by bringing the trophy to Ghana,” Vice President Amissah-Arthur said.
