Twifo Praso (C/R) July 16, GNA- Cape Coast Venomous Vipers beat Praso Akumpreku F/C a second division side 2-0 in a friendly football match played at Praso on Tuesday.

From the blast of the whistle, Akumpreku matched Vipers squarely and nearly went ahead in the 20th minute but their centre forward James Andoh wasted the first begging chance.

They continued to pile pressure on Vipers but poor finishing upfront denied them goals until half time.

Vipers resumed the second half strongly and dictated the pace of the game until the 75th minute when their centre forward Alex Foster, sneaked through and offside trap to open the scoring for his side. Akumpreku finding the going tough made two changes but the changes did not deter Vipers from raising the tally to 2-0 through outside right, Gyasi Barnor, in the 85th minute.

Barnor after collecting a pass from Foster rounded up the defenders of Akumpreku to score the goal to seal the doom of the home team.
