Cape Coast. July 28, GNA-Cape Coast Venomous vipers played an improved game to hold their arch rivals, Ebusua Dwarfs to a 1-1 draw in their division one league match played at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Sunday. Kicking off under the instruction of Accra base class one referee, Charles Dowuona who stamped his authority on the match to ensure discipline, Vipers took the pitch with confidence and matched their opponents squarely to end the first half scoreless.
Dwarfs resumed the second half strongly and following a combination initiated from the right flank, outside right, Nana Kwei laid a pass to centre forward, Frank Walters to open the scoring with a header in the 70th minute.
Undaunted by this lead, Vipers threw everything into attack and got the equaliser through inside right, Issa Muntala in the 84th minute. Muntala after collecting a pass from Joseph Bentil, who was a thorn in the flesh of the Dwarfs defence, raced with the ball to score the match needed equaliser. In another encounter at Winneba, Kasoa Fauzan beat Feynord 1-0
