Agona Swedru, Jan. 22, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers on Thursday beat Agona Swedru Young Rangers 1-0 in a friendly soccer match played at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
From the word "go", Rangers, first division campaigners dominated the game in the initial stages and thrice came close to scoring but their forwards squandered begging chances.
Vipers changed the tide in their favour in the 25th minute and forced their opponents to play in their own half until half time.
The second half became balanced and when all things pointed to a drawn game midfielder Richard Nyarko sneaked through an offside trap set by Rangers to score the only goal of the match in the 85th minute.
