Vipers' win friendly against Moree Astons

Cape Coast, July 21, GNA- Cape Coast Venomous Vipers reaped a goal harvest when they crushed Moree Astons (a second division side) 4-0 in a friendly football match played at the Cape Coast sports stadium on Sunday. The match climaxed Vipers' preparations towards the division one league, which kicks off on Sunday July 27. The man who was responsible for this sweet victory, was inside left Fugo Bentil, who scored two goals for Vipers. From the blast of the whistle, Vipers took command of the game and opened the scoring, through, centre half, Eric Sackey as early as in the third minute.

The match climaxed Vipers' preparations towards the division one league, which kicks off on Sunday July 27. The man who was responsible for this sweet victory, was inside left Fugo Bentil, who scored two goals for Vipers. From the blast of the whistle, Vipers took command of the game and opened the scoring, through, centre half, Eric Sackey as early as in the third minute. They continued to pile pressure on Astons and following a combination at the mid field, Sackey was put through to net the second goal in the 35th minute. The visitors, hit back and made frantic efforts to equalise but the able defence of Vipers kept them at bay. Vipers took over the attack in the 75th minute and upon persistent pressure, succeeded in scoring two rapid goals through centre forward, Ekow Kakraba, and Fugo Bentil to bring the fulltime scores to 4-0.
