Ho, Oct 21, GNA - Ho-based Division One League Clubs, Voradep Football Club and Home Stars FC on Sunday renewed their local rivalry by settling for a goalless game in an uncompromising encounter played at the Ho Sports Stadium.
Both teams showed great zeal and determination to carry the day as soon as referee Listowel Zilevu of Akatsi whistled for commencement of hostilities but the game degenerated into rough play resulting in several hold-ups.
The second half resumed with play concentrated in the mid-field with occasional breaks, which were not utilised.
Enterprising Holali Nyavedzi, playing at the central defence of Stars was the toast of fans as he thwarted all efforts of Voradep to score. Both teams exhausted their substitution lists but failed to alter the score-line until referee Zilevu brought the game to a close.
