WAFU tournament to take place in Kumasi

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that the West African Football Union (WAFU) tournament will now take place in Kumasi and not Accra as earlier announced.

According to our sources, the Accra Sports Stadium has already been booked for a program during the tournament, prompting the organisers to move the competition to Kumasi.

All games, save two will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with the two games slated for the Paa Joe Stadium at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology from November 21-28 2013 with eight nations, including Ghana taking part.

Togo, Niger, Senegal, Gabon
