Wakaso progressing under brother's shadow

Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso is making massive progress under the shadows of his senior brother Mubarak at Portuguese side Rio Ave.

The 22-year-old has become a steal in the Rio Ave side this term, helping them to 9th on the Portuguese league table.


Wakaso is explosive in midfield and has excessive energy that makes him valuable in Pedro Martins high pressing game.

He is strong in the tackle and a good passer of the ball than his big brother even though he lacks the eye for goal that has served Mubarak so well.


The former Cheetah FC product has been hugely tipped to have a blistering career.
