Wakaso shelves aside personal glory

In-form Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso says he is not fixed on gaining personal glory but was rather delighted with the team's collective efforts.

The Las Palmas midfielder made things easy for his mates with a well executed free kick to open the scoring in the game against Comoros.

But says he is delighted with the outcome of the game because the goal would have meant nothing if they had lost the game.

The most important thing is that we have won and progressed to the next stage of the competition, the Las Palmas man told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"The goal was a good one but if we had lost the game it would have made little sense."
