We have many sponsors in the pipeline – New Ashgold CEO Emmanuel Frimpong reveals

Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold SC, Emmanuel Frimpong has revealed that his outfit has secured a number of sponsors and they will soon be made known to fans and the entire football fraternity.

The 27-year-old who also doubles as the son of the club president, Dr. Kweku Frimpong was named as the club's CEO after the resignation of renowned sports journalist and GFA Executive Council Member Frederick Achemapong.

In an interview with Kumasi FM after his appointment, the young entrepreneur pleaded with the club’s fans to rally behind them as one big family.

“We have many sponsors in the pipeline and very soon the world will know about it.”

“Together with the supporters, we will work as a family. The current impasse has been dealt with after the supporters wrote an apology letter to my father, we will work smoothly” he concluded.
