Great Olympics defender Edmund Sekyi says his club cannot afford to lose for the second time running when it comes up against Aduana Stars on Saturday in the FCP Premier League.

Aduana Stars are yet to taste defeat after three match days in the new season, having amassed seven points out of a possible nine.

Sekyi, himself a former Aduana Stars player, told footy-ghana.com that he and his teammates are determined to halt Aduana Stars’s unbeaten run and that it would be bad for Olympics to lose for the second straight game.

"Nothing is impossible. In football, we believe in three things; either you win, draw or lose. Every team going into every game would like to win all three points. So we are determined because our last game against West African Football Academy, we lost and after this game we will be playing away, and the way the league is being played, if you fail to win your home games you will be dropping points, so we are determined to win against Aduana Stars.’’

Sekyi also told footy-ghana.com that poor officiating contributed to their defeat against West Africa Football Academy last Sunday.

"I personally don’t want to talk about referee issues, but to tell you the truth, it was bad. Seriously I wouldn’t want to complain but officiating was very bad.’’
