San Pedro’s General Manager Abi Haidem is confident his side will upset Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in the CAF Confederation Cup final playoff.
The Ivorian's club will be travelling to Ghana to play the first leg of the Confederation Cup play offs against the Porcupines at the Kumasi Baba Yara sports stadium on October 27,2019.
“There was this feeling of anxiety among us when we saw the draw after being handed a big task against Asante Kotoko due to their successes in African club competitions in the past,” he told Kumasi-based Light FM.
According to him, although they look like the underdogs nothing is impossible in football so Kotoko should prepare well for them.
The two teams will square off for a place in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages on 27th of October in Kumasi with the second leg scheduled for 3rd November in Abidjan.
