Mas-Ud Dramani has attributed Asante Kotoko's Premier League victory over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to tactical superiority.

Seidu Bancey's late first half strike was all the defending champions required to triumph in the meeting of the two biggest clubs in Ghana and Dramani told GNA Sports in a post-match interview that the game was won from the bench.

“I must commend my players because they were tactical all through. We kept varying tactics during the game and it paid off.”

Dramani claims the score line was modest based on the output of his boys in the game Hearts largely dominated.

“The score line could have been more because we created a lot of decent chances and fortunately, Hearts was lucky not to have conceded any of those chances.”

The coach, who rates his charges as favourites for the Premier League trophy which could be a treble in three seasons, says the club will continue to take one game at a time adding that good preparations will be a major part of Asante Kotoko’s armoury.

“We will continue to modify our game and step on it as we go. Good preparation means without Michael Helegbe and Issah Yakubu, we still won against Hearts today. We plan to take advantage of that for every game.”

The victory is Kotoko's second in two games.
