Ghana defender Harrison Afful has urged his Columbus Crew to focus on the season following their 2-1 defeat against Portland Timbers in the season opener over the weekend.

The 29-year-old starred for the visitors as they succumbed to the defeat at the Providence Park.

Goals from Diego Valeri and Fanendo Adi condemned Crew to their opening day defeat Timbers in a rematch of last season MLS Cup final.

But the Ghana international has urged his teammates to forget the defeat on focus on the rest of the matches.
