Dreams FC head coach, Charles Kwabena Akunnor, has said his side won’t be ‘stupid’ when they face West Africa Football Academy at Sogakope in their mid-week clash.
WAFA has turned their home grounds into a waterloo for their opponents, with recent victims, Hearts of Oak, picking the ball from the back of their net thrice in their match week 23 encounter.
Akunnor, speaking in his weekly pre-match interview, said, they will travel to Sogakope with a well thought-out tactic, ensuring they remain vigilant throughout the game, while being aware of what might happen, should they lose concentration.
“I believe against WAFA, we can pick up a point as we remain fouced on retaining our premier league status though we want just more than that.
“I dont expect the team to lose against WAFA. After seeing how teams have fared at Sogakope, we won’t be stupid nor allow them to play, as we will meet as a group and find the right tactics and be disciplined as well when we face them on Saturday.”
Dreams drew 1-1 at home to Ashgold and are on course to finish in the top four in their debut GPL season.
