Accra, Feb 14, GNA - A World Cup website, www.worldcup 2006.com.gh, aimed at stimulating the interest of Ghanaians towards the 2006 FIFA World Cup, was launched in Accra on Tuesday.
The site operated by IQ Consult is to inform Ghanaians about the senior national team, the Black Stars as well as their West African neighbours, Togo and Cote D' Ivoire who have also qualified for the world soccer fiesta.
Prince Derek Adjei, Project Consultant of IQ Consult described the project as a pro-Ghana initiative by his organisation that would provide people the opportunity to access the site for information on Ghanaian players and their pictures, results of matches, news as well as polling centres where viewers can cast vote on issues.
He said similar attention would be given to their West African neighbours just as Ghana, because "they are our siblings".
