Former Dreams FC skipper Baba Abdul Rahman prefers an energetic 60,000 capacity packed arena on a weekly basis as he looks forward to a loan deal away from London.
The Schalke bound arrived in Germany on Saturday afternoon from Carlifonia, USA where new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is leading his charges in a packed pre-season tour.
However, Dreamsfc.com can exclusively reveal the former Augsburg defender rejected offers from Italian giants AS Roma, Bundesliga outfits Liepzig & Hoffenheim.
Rahman also rejected an opportunity for a spell with another premiership after turning down an offer from West Brom.
Key to the reasons for the decision include the 22 year-old’s preference for a “60,000 packed stadium every week”.
Kurt, E.S Okraku, Executive Chairman for Dreams FC stated “Baba prefers to play infront of a 60,000 packed capacity arena every week, hence the decision to opt for Schalke among all the others”.
“… We told Schalke and of course they were very interested in the move”, Mr Okraku ended.
Baba Rahman joined Chelsea in 2015 for a fee of £14 million, potentially rising to £22 million, making his premier league debut in a 2–0 win over Aston Villa at Standford Bridge on 17 October.
Medicals will take place at a yet-to-be disclosed medical center in Germany.
