Elmina, Sept. 17, GNA - Winneba Soccer Intellectuals continued their winning spree when they crushed Elmina Bafana 5-0 in their outstanding match of the Central Region Women's League at Elmina on Tuesday.
Soccer Intellectuals took absolute command of the game from the start and scored the opener through midfielder, Adiza Mustapha in the 10th minute.
The visitors continued to dictate affairs and added another goal through Christina Baiden before the end of the first half.
On resumption of the second half, Bafana resumed strongly and pinned their opponents into their own half for a considerable length of time but lacked bite upfront to redeem any goal.
Bafana's hopes of drawing level were shattered when Soccer Intellectuals scored three more goals through Christian Yorke, Azuma Najata and Christina Baiden to seal the doom of the host.
