Ghana has cancelled a purported camping of the senior national team, the Black Stars, in France ahead of their 2006 World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso.
Consequently, a proposed friendly game against Guinea has been scrapped.
The Black Stars will be camped in Accra for the crucial qualifier on June 5.
The decision to camp the Stars in France received mixed reaction from the membership of the FA, from the onset.
Dissenting members argued that the sharp difference between climatic conditions pertaining in France and Burkina Faso makes camping in France an unnecessary venture.
Meanwhile, the foreign-based professionals invited by coach Mariano Barreto, have started arriving for the build-up to the game.
