Ex-Ghana midfielder Yaw Acheampong is being linked to take up the vacant head coaching job at Ghana Premier League club Inter Allies.
The 41-year-old, according to reports, is one of the shortlisted candidates in negotiations with management of the Tema-based club for the vacant job.
Inter Allies are in the hunt for a new head coach following the departure of Herbert Addo whose one-year contract expired at the end of the last football season.
Acheampong is currently unattached after AshantiGold axed him before the start of the last Premier League campaign.
He was a member of Ghana’s team that won bronze at the 1992 Olympic Games staged in Barcelona.
