-Set For Stade Malien Talks

Former Hearts of Oak Manager Yusif Abubakari has quit Bechem Chelsea after a short meeting with the Club's director in Kumasi. Yusif took over Chelsea shortly before the start of the league when the Berekum based Club's Polish manager Steve Polack left because of Ill-health. Yusif has had an excellent start in the league with 3 wins, 2 draws including holding Hearts of Oak in midweek at the Accra Stadium after six matches and lies fourth on the log. In an interview with Sunyani based Dinpa Radio, the coach seemed disappointed and said he has been courted by several clubs in Mali but opted to help Chelsea instead."They told me at the meeting to be an assistant to a foreign coach I do not even know, I just noticed a white man watching our games previously with the CEO but have not spoken to him so I don't know how the transition would be"the soft spoken coach said.

Yusif said he is making arrangements and would fly to Mali and have talks with Stade Malien as soon as possible.Meanwhile, Kumasi based King Faisal are said to be lining-up Yusif as a possible replacement to sacked Momo Medic.

Chelsea have however contracted Austrian coach Atila Sekerlioglufor two years.
