Yusif Basigi adjudged SWAG Coach of the year

Black Queens Coach Yusif Basigi has emerged as the coach of the year at the 2016 MTN-SWAG Awards.

Basigi who doubles as the head coach for Premier League side Sekondi Hasaacas and National Women’s League Champions Hasaacas Ladies beat off competition from Ashanti Gold trainer Bashir Hayford and former Medeama SC coach Tom Strand.

The soft-spoken coach was impressive last year after guiding the Black Queens team to a Gold medal feat at the 2015 All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville.

He also helped Hasaacas Ladies to win their third straight National women’s League trophy after defeating Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the finals last year.
