Struggling Stade Rennes will be able to welcome back John "The Rock" Mensah who should make his first Ligue 1 appearance of the season against Sochaux on Sunday.
Mensah, who had had a calf problem, played for Ghana in the World Cup in the summer.
"Now I want to play for my club and give the best of myself," Mensah told www.staderennais.com.
"We are capable of having a great season if we play together as we should. Let's start by beating Sochaux on Saturday evening in front of our own supporters."
This is good news for the Stade Rennais who are having a difficult start to the season in L1 (19th with 1 point), and who have conceded 8 goals in 4 matches .
