Ghana miss out of a place in the finals at the Sasol Eight Nations tournament after losing their semi-fnal game on Tuesday.
The Black Satellites lost 1-0 to Botswana in the first semi-final clash.
Ghana would thus settle for a third place spot when they play the loser of the other semi-final match between Lesotho and Cameroon in a game preceding the final on Thursday.
Botswana, thus remain unbeaten in the competition after topping Group A.
