Bofoakwa Fires CEO

The one time soccer Apostles of Ghana football, B/A united on Sunday taught their local rivals Tano-Bofoakwa a football lesson by beaten them by a lone goal, courtesy Ishmael Ottu-Amoah in the 75th minute of the second half. B/A united in their first match in the on going Polytank sponsored Division One league, drew 1-1 with their counterparts from Bechem, Bechem Chelsea after the soccer Apostles had taken the lead in the 68th minute. The homesters lost concentration for their opponents to equalize in the 80th minute.

The management and players vowed to make amends in their next game against Tano-Bofoakwa in their next home match, which they did perfectly on Sunday by displaying a very tactical play to outweigh their rivals.

The CEO of B/A United, Charles Kwadwo- Ntim, says the teams victory over Tano-Bofoakwa was a sign of better things to come, and has no doubts that B/A united F/C would come back to the premiership. He commended the numerous supporters of the team for cheering their idol club to achieve their desire by beaten their local rivals and pleaded that the supporters should always support the team to qualify for the premier league next year.

During the first half break, a former player of B/A United F/C,who ply’s his trade with St.Patricks in the Irish league, Issaka Baba donated sets of Jerseys to B/A United and Tano-Bofoakwa.

The management of the two clubs commended Issaka Baba for the gesture done them and urged others to follow suit.

In another development, the CEO of Tano Bofoakwa has been fired by the Board of Directors of the club after the clubs lost to BA United.

Mr. Apraku Tuffour, who served the club for two years, is yet to speak to the press.
