Former King Faisal Croatian manager Zdravko Lugaracic has confirmed he is interested

in landing the Black Stars managerial job if the seat becomes vacant as current

coach Milovan Rajevac's future with the team looks uncertain. Milovan who is on the

radar of many national and clubs sides as a result of the Black Stars sterling

performance in the ongoing FIFA World Cup looks unlikely to continue with the job

and the Croatian after achieving success with Kumasi based Premier league side King

Faisal Babies would want to be considered for the hot seat.

In an interview, the coach indicated he has been keenly following the Black Stars

exploits in the world cup and believes the team could have won the cup if the

technical bench had reacted positively in the matches especially when the Black

Stars lost on penalty shoot-outs to the Celeste of Uruguay. He said the Black Stars

coach's inability to communicate directly with the players adversely affected their

performance and entreated the Ghana Football Association to consider it as a factor

in selecting a manager for the team when it becomes necessary.

Lugaracic who is spending some time off in his native Croatia recounted his

managerial experiences as having worked in four continents with several club sides

in Germany, Serbia and Iran and with seventeen (17) years of work, he believes the

current Black Stars Coach has no matching with him."My CV is better than him

(Milovan

Rajevac) and why shouldn't I be considered for the Job" the eloquent

Croatian was quoted as saying.

After guiding King Faisal from relegation to the mid-table in the just ended Premier

league, the coach insisted he only came to Ghana to learn about African culture and

secure a national team's job. The UEFA License B coach also said he was preparing

his CV and application and would be ready to fax it to the GFA should the Black

Stars job become vacant.

Meanwhile, the coach has make himself available to any club side in Ghana but

denied speculations that he has been contacted by many sides in the country.
