Kevin-Prince Boateng netted his first league goal, in Italy, in Milan's 3-0 schooling of Brescia.
Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic added the other two
The Serie A leaders welcomed back Andrea Pirlo against his hometown club and gave Kevin-Prince Boateng a new trequartista role, but there was still no room for Ronaldinho even with Alexandre Pato and Pippo Inzaghi injured. Brescia held Inter to a 1-1 draw here last month, but were without a win since September.
The deadlock was broken within four minutes. Zlatan Ibrahimovic exchanged passes with Massimo Ambrosini and got to the by-line to pull it back for Boateng, who slid in from six yards at the near post. The Ghanaian celebrated his debut Serie A goal in style with acrobatics.
It should've been 1-1 on 16 minutes with another brilliantly worked move. Hetemaj got past his man to cross from the right and Andrea Caracciolo's audacious volley brought an equally impressive save out of Christian Abbiati.
Robinho showed marvellous footwork and step-overs to get past Berardi, but could only hit the side-netting from a tight angle.
It was only a warning, as the Brazilian scored 30 seconds later. It was a gift for Robinho, as the awful Hetemaj backpass took Bega by surprise and he wasted no time placing the finish from 10 yards.
Brescia disappeared from the field, as Ibrahimovic made it 3-0 with a cracking solo effort. He gathered in the centre and took on Gilberto Martinez, waited for the right moment and cut in to smash an unstoppable screamer under the bar at the near post.
Jonathan Zebina's howler was intercepted by Boateng, but Matteo Sereni spread himself to parry the shot, then the Robinho follow-up was cleared off the line by Martinez.
Sereni palmed away a curling Pirlo free kick, while a smart one-touch move between Pirlo, Ibra and Boateng concluded with the Ghanaian firing over. Abbiati had to rush off his line to close down Caracciolo with help from Thiago Silva.
Mario Yepes gave Alessandro Nesta a rest for the second half. Caracciolo tested Abbiati, but only after he had strayed offside.
Boateng changed gear to burst down the right and pull across for Robinho, who ballooned over under no real pressure. Even Rino Gattuso threatened a goal when he somehow got himself into the box to trap a Robinho cross and see his shot charged down by Martinez.
Ibrahimovic attempted the goal of the season when a deflected Ignazio Abate cross came in from the right, reaching backwards for an overhead kick that was only just wide of the target.
Ronaldinho got to play for the final 20 minutes as a replacement for Ibrahimovic. The Brazilian immediately had the chance to make it 4-0, but volleyed an Abate cross over from the penalty spot with the inside of his left foot.
Mathieu Flamini blasted off target from distance on a Gattuso through ball. Diamanti's free kick was deflected wide off Boateng, but both sides seemed content enough with the result in the second half.
