Joseph Anang shines with 'Man of the Match' performance in Irish League opener

Black Stars goalkeeper, Joseph Anang began the 2026 Irish League season in impressive fashion, earning the Man of the Match award as his club, St Patrick’s Athletic, held Bohemians to a 0-0 draw last weekend in the season opener.

Anang, who was nominated for the Goalkeeper of the Season award in 2025, was instrumental in keeping his side in the game, making crucial saves and denying the home team from claiming victory.
