Bloemfontein Celtic's search for quality players to reinforce their squad ahead of next season has extended to Ghana, with an invitation for trials to Hearts of Oak’s exciting midfielder Obed Ansah.
Celtic have already signed Malawian teenage defender Limbikani Mzava to beef their squad next season.
Ansah, who scored 12 goals for Hearts last season, recently turned down an offer to renew his contract with his Ghanaian team in order to continue his career elsewhere.
Ansah’s agent, Rudy Abrahams of Proball Sports International, confirmed the arrival of the player in South Africa.
“We sent the player’s CV to Celtic and their coach invited Ansah so as to have a closer look at him. He has applied for his visa and should be in South Africa before June 27,” Abrahams says.
Siwelele CEO Ikie Augousti confirmed that his team is expecting a few trialists.
