Premier League official A.S. Malik has been selected by the Confederation of African Football - Caf, as a match official for 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Malik, who was last week presented with a Fifa badge is an assistant referee in the domestic competition, the Glo Premier League.
He is among the list of 21 assistant referees for the tournament in South Africa.
Caf also named 18 centre referees, making it a total of 39 match officials for the 23-day competition.
Assistant referee Malik passed the prerequisite Caf Referees Elite course for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
