Asec Mimosas’ Ghanaian midfield enforcer Mark Sekyere has stated that he is yet to determine where he will play next season despite helping the Abidjan-based club to finish second in the just ended league.
Sekyere, 23, has been the heartbeat of the former continental masters pulling the strings from his favourite defensive midfield role to the admiration of coach Siaka Traore and the supporters who have nicknamed him "Makelele".
“The league has just ended and we placed second, we have qualified for the Caf Champions League, but I have not decided yet concerning where I will be plying my trade next season,” Sekyere told Goal Ghana.
“I will take my decision on my next step after finishing the cup games.”
The talented anchorman moved to Asec Mimosas in 2008 from Gomoah Fetteh Feyernoord after an impressive loan season with the Porcupine Warriors where he excelled with them domestically and in Africa.
A move back to Kumasi Asante Kotoko is very much a possibility as he recently told Goal Ghana that Sometimes he miss the Ghana Premier league champions.
