Addo's Injury Not Career-Threatening

Borussia Dortmund, the Ghanaian national team and Otto Addo have breathed a collective sigh of relief after in-depth tests concluded that the striker's career is not in jeopardy following his second cruciate ligament injury inside of twelve months.

"The ligament did not rip at the same spot, which means the damage isn't as bad as it could have been," explained a relieved Addo, who re-injured himself while in action for Ghana at the beginning of last month.

Despite the positive news, the 27-year-old still has a lot of hard rehab work ahead of him and the quickest he can realistically hope to be back is in six months.
