Hapoel Ashkelon’s striker Mawuli Osei says he is ready to play for the Nation if called upon. The former Liberty Professional player expressed his desire to Kofi Ferguson in an interview on Pluzz Sports. He said out of the 10 matches played, he has to his record 11 goals a few months after joining Ashkelon.
Mawuli 24, a striker for the Israel based club Hapoel Askelon also disclosed that other European football clubs are “eyeing” him, citing a Scotland based club-Celtic as an example.
Mawuli Osei who joined Askelon 3 months ago described Israel’s National league as “tough” and second to European league matches.
He is expected to play his next match against Hapoel Rishon Letzion 0n 29 November 2013.
